ASHTANGA BASICS

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾☾☾

This beginners class offers an introduction to the Ashtanga method. Students will learn the basic technique for breathing and movement (vinyasa), meditative gazing (dristhi) and internal energy locks (bandha). Participants will be guided through the initial sequence of poses in a manner suitable for all ages and levels of physical fitness. No prior yoga experience is necessary.

ASHTANGA LED (PRIMARY SERIES)

Intermediate | Intensity ☾☾☾☾☾

In this class, students will be led through the full Ashtanga Primary Series practice by an instructor. The sequences will focus mainly on one's pranayama (breath), drishti (gaze), and asanas. This class is suitable for practitioners with yoga experience as well as anyone with an existing Ashtanga practice. Additional instructions and modifications are provided so the practice is accessible to all. This class runs for about 1 hour and 30mins.

BACK TO BASICS

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾☾

In every home you need a strong base to keep everything intact, to keep things standing strong and tall.” Learning the foundations and fundamentals of yoga leads to a strong practice which is a blend between proper alignment of poses, breathing techniques, strength and balance. This 60 minute class focuses on skeletal alignment and muscle engagement in the most common yoga postures and transitions. It is perfect for first-timers, and seasoned practitioners hoping to refine their practice.

BACKBEND BASICS

Our Backbend Basics class is the perfect starting point for anyone who is new or looking to deepen their backbends. It is also great for those looking for a refresher on proper form and technique to access backbends safely. Backbends are an essential component of a balanced yoga routine, as they help build strength and flexibility. They stretch and create space in the front body, they are energising and help to relieve stress and anxiety. Join us as we open up our hearts, and find fresh perspective. Accessible to all!

CANDLELIGHT SLOW FLOW

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾☾☾

In our Candlelight Slow Flow class, you will practice about half the number of poses you might practice in a typical Warrior Flow class. The pace is meditative, emphasizing peace and calm in body and mind. We hold poses longer, taking several rounds of breath in each pose, instead of moving to each breath. All of this basked in candlelight! Suitable for all levels.

CANDLELIGHT STRETCH
WITH AROMATHERAPY

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾

Our Candlelight Stretch w Aromatherapy class will be the perfect way to end your day. Infused in the longer, deeper holds - this class involves surrendering into poses and exploring them for longer periods of time in order to let go of tensions stored in the body and to calm the nervous system. Practicing this way helps to target deeper connective tissues especially around the hips, pelvis, and lower spine. This practice will be lit entirely by candlelight helping us to balance our emotions, still our minds, and open the deep connective tissues in the body. We will also explore Aromatherapy in this class, where essential oils are incorporated into the stretch to help deepen your experience.

CORE & MORE

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾☾☾

Our Core & More class targets mainly the middle part of the body - abs, obliques, back, shoulders and glutes. Strengthening and building up these areas will help with posture, develop stamina, and improves overall strength required for both fitness and daily life. Great for everyone in any level of practice, especially those looking to achieve arm balance and inversions.

DETOX FLOW

Intermediate | Intensity ☾☾☾

This class is designed to cleanse the body on a physical, emotional, and spiritual level. Emphasizing postures focused on twists and some inversions, it aims to release trapped particles in the colon, improve digestion, and enhance blood circulation to vital organs like the liver and kidneys. The incorporation of breathing techniques helps in eliminating toxins. This class will increase your blood circulation, stimulate the lymphatic system and foster an overall sense of cleansing and rejuvenation.

FLIGHT SCHOOL

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾☾☾

Learn to move effortlessly during arm balances and inversions at our Flight School, regardless of your level as a yogi! You will learn the strength, mobility and alignment drills that will assist you with going upside down. Most importantly, you will explore how to set up for it, the transitions in and out of each pose and what is required of you to practice them safely. Discover the benefits of being inverted and why it can be an important addition to your practice. Our teachers will provide modifications and options for all levels of practitioners, in a safe and supportive environment.

HANDSTAND FUNDAMENTALS

Our Handstand Fundamentals class will lead you to the point where you can confidently balance on your hands, and bail out safely. You will learn to train and strengthen your body for better handstands. There will be powerful drills incorporated to help you master your handstand technique against a wall and free-standing. You will be exposed to conditioning exercises to build stronger shoulders, wrists, and core muscles in this class! There will be beginner, intermediate, and advanced options for all stages of handstand training.

HATHA FLOW

Beginner Friendly | Intensity ☾☾☾

Hatha Flow offers a blend of both the hatha and vinyasa styles of yoga - the best of both worlds! You’ll flow through a series of warmups, sun salutations, as well as strong standing and seated postures. Each pose will be held for a slightly longer duration of 5-8 breaths so that you can focus on finding the right alignment for your body, while building stability in your practice. Typically, the flow will work towards a peak posture, so you’ll have the opportunity to explore new poses in a little more detail. This class is perfect for those looking to lengthen and strengthen their bodies while flowing with the breath!

HATHA INTERMEDIATE

Intermediate | Intensity ☾☾☾☾

Our Hatha Intermediate class is an extension of the Hatha Flow (basic) class. This class will enhance a further understanding of yoga, help students build flexibility, establish good breathing habits and posture. Students will learn the intermediate level of postures of stretching and bending, as well as arm balances and inversions. Highly recommend for those who wish to pursue yoga to a higher level. Some experience in Hatha Basic/ Hatha Flow required.

Our Stretch & Sound Bath class is the perfect class if you want to have a relaxing practice for both your mind and body. The first half, there will be options to gentle or active stretches to soften tight muscles and target the deep connective tissues of your body which helps increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility. The second half, lying in savasana, completely passive and relaxed for restoration. This experience is accompanied with the healing vibrations and frequencies of a Sound Bath (instruments such as Ocean Drum, Chimes, Tibetan bowls, and more) for a more meditative state of mind. This class is suitable for everyone.

WALL ROPE YOGA

Our Wall Rope Yoga class is a fun and innovative way to practice yoga poses with the use of the wall and the rope as helpers for resistance and support. It can add a feeling of relief in some positions. The ropes and wall are used to do things like hang upside down, support your back in backbends, shoulder openers, and even help you balance. This energising, brisk and intelligent flow class connects breath to movement, and is sure to increase heart rate and create a cleansing body heat. The smooth and fluid transitions allow poses to flow from one to another developing strength, flexibility, stamina and focus. This sweat-drenching class may explore more complex postures, as well as some arm balances and inversions. Therefore, it is recommended that students attend a couple of Mellow Flow classes before attending Warrior Flow classes.

YIN & YANG

This class focuses on the balance of the gentle, quiet, meditative practice of Yin Yoga with the powerful, active, and dynamic movements of Yang Yoga.
